Living with ADHD as an adult can be frustrating, overwhelming, and often misunderstood. You might struggle with focus, time management, organization, or following through on tasks—even ones that matter deeply to you. This can lead to feelings of guilt, shame, or self-doubt, especially if you’ve spent years trying to "push through" or mask your struggles. ADHD can affect many areas of life, from work and relationships to your sense of self-worth. In therapy, we’ll work together to better understand how ADHD shows up for you and how it’s shaped your experiences. We’ll focus on building practical tools and strategies tailored to your strengths, while also fostering greater self-compassion and confidence. You are not lazy or broken—your brain just works differently, and therapy can help you navigate life in a way that feels more manageable and aligned with who you are.

Anxiety can show up in many ways—racing thoughts, constant worry, difficulty sleeping, or feeling on edge without knowing why. While it’s a normal part of life to feel anxious from time to time, persistent anxiety can start to interfere with your daily functioning and sense of peace. In therapy, we’ll work together to understand the root of your anxiety, develop practical tools to manage it, and create space for calm, clarity, and confidence in your life.

Struggling with identity can be a deeply unsettling experience. You might feel disconnected from yourself, uncertain about your values, or like you're moving through life without a clear sense of who you are. This confusion can show up during major transitions, after a significant life event, or even in quieter moments of reflection. It’s not uncommon to feel alone in this process, especially when those around you seem confident in their paths. In therapy, we’ll explore these questions together in a supportive, non-judgmental space. Through this work, you can begin to uncover what truly matters to you, reconnect with your inner self, and build a stronger, more authentic sense of identity.

Traumatic experiences from the past can continue to shape how we think, feel, and relate to the world—often in ways we don’t fully recognize at first. You might find yourself feeling stuck, overwhelmed, overly alert, or disconnected, even if the original event happened long ago. Trauma can impact relationships, self-esteem, decision-making, and your ability to feel safe or at ease in everyday life. In therapy, we’ll work together to gently explore how past experiences may be affecting your present, at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting—it means finding new ways to relate to your story, reclaiming your sense of self, and moving forward with more freedom and clarity.

Facing life’s challenges can feel incredibly isolating—especially when it seems like those around us don’t fully understand what we’re going through. Group therapy offers a powerful opportunity to connect with others who are navigating similar experiences. It creates a sense of community and shared understanding, making it easier to work through difficulties together.
We are not running any groups at this time, please reach out to us if you are interested in future opportunities.

“We often find that the harder we try to get rid of emotions and thoughts, the stronger they become. This is because parts, like people, fight back against being shamed or exiled.”
Richard C. Schwartz
